To my knowledge, the Bible does not specifically say where Adam was when Eve was tempted by Satan in the guise of the serpent, but he was apparently not with Eve, and also out of hearing range of the conversation that Eve had with the serpent, since he accepted Eve's account of the conversation.

It was also the apparent separation of Adam from Eve that allowed Satan to purposely target Eve alone for temptation, since she had not personally heard God's commandment regarding the forbidden fruit (as indicated in Genesis 2:16-17), but had only Adam's account of it, which allowed her to form mistaken ideas about what God had actually said. (For example, Eve erroneously told the serpent that she and Adam had been told to not even touch the forbidden fruit, but that had not been part of God's command to Adam.) To me, this indicates greater possible susceptibility on her part to Satan's lies and temptation.

Answer indirectly mentioned in 1 Corinthians 7:5: "Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control." She was alone or without the presence of Adam. He might still have been in that location, but away from her.

He was with her, per Gen. 3:6 "...She also gave some of it to her husband who was with her, and he ate it."
