What became of the "tree of knowledge of good and evil" after Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden of Eden?

Genesis 3:1 - 24

ESV - 1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God actually say, 'You shall not eat of any tree in the garden'? 2 And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden.

In my view, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was an ordinary tree that had significance only because of God's commandment not to eat of its fruit. It was the disobedience to God's command (that is, the sin) associated with that eating (rather than anything involving the tree itself or its fruit) that resulted in its effects, which could only be counteracted by Jesus' later death and resurrection. I would therefore say that the tree lived the normal life cycle of a tree, but with no indication in the Bible of how long it lived or when it might have died. In any event, it would have had no further adverse effect or significance with regard to humanity.

When Adam and Eve sinned "DEATH" entered God's entire created world. Everything started to die because of the pollution, Corruption, contamination and poison of sin. People died; animals, birds, fish, and insects died. Trees and plants died.

That Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil died. Our sin killed it, not just Adam and Eve, we all play a part.

But God had already placed within each living creature the ability to reproduce itself so life would continue. This is a foretaste of God's plan of salvation to restore eternal life for all huis creation. First, for human beings when we put our faith in Jesus, our spirits come alive and we receive the gift of eternal life. When Jesus returns he will restore all things to God's original plan - sin, death and all evil will be completely purged from Jesus's new earth.

The Tree of Life also died but the book of Revelation says the Tree of Life will appear again when Jesus comes the second time.

The Tree of life is Christ, so that is alive and well. We fell in a garden because of a tree, and Jesus first shed His blood in a garden and then on a tree, redeeming both. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is the law. We always rightly divide the word of truth. Law and grace, demand and supply, all about me, all about him. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is because we start out with good intentions to keep the law, but then end up doing evil.

Good and evil. The more we try and put ourselves under the law, the more we give strength to sin because we know that the law is the strength of sin. The law has been fulfilled in Jesus; we are not under the curse of the law anymore, and because of that, sin is not imputed when there is no law. Thank you Jesus.
