Some of my unsaved Jewish friends say I am no longer a Jew if I embrace "Christian liberty." I often tell them this: "Believing in Jesus is not the only way to be Jewish, but it is the most enjoyable way to be Jewish!" Why? Because without a genuine change from the inside, all of Judaism's effort to be Torah observant will ultimately prove to be worthless. This is why Paul wrote in Rom. 10:4 that "The goal of the Torah is the Messiah," the Greek word "telos" often translated as "end" must be translated as "goal" for the theology of this verse to be supported by the weight of the TaNaKH (OT) and the rest of Paul's positive views on Torah. Christ did not END the Law. He came to free us and empower us to properly DO the Law.
Jesus is the ONLY way to experience true liberty from sin and shame, and my fellow unsaved Jewish brothers and sisters desperately need to hear this from sincere Christians who are not afraid to share their testimony. Faith in Jesus is the only way to become the "truest kind of Jew," both inside and out (Rom. 2:28, 29), and to make your Torah observance genuinely count as praise to God.
