In the past you conquered nations, but now you have been thrown to the ground." I think the King of Babylon is a symbol of Satan. Yes, it is a fact that Jesus and Satan are referred to as "morning star." I think the King of Babylon is a symbol of Satan. The name “Lucifer” (“morning star”) indicates that Satan tries to imitate Jesus Christ, who is “the bright and morning star” (Rev. 22:16). “I will be like the Most High” reveals his basic strategy, for he is an imitator (Isa. 14:14; 2 Cor. 11:13–15). -Warren Wiersbe But notice that Jesus is the only one referred to as the BRIGHT morning star! A star emits light. Jesus is the light of the world (John 8:12; 9:5), and Satan wants to imitate this.
