Not sure what “woke” means, but I see it referred to by Christian writers.

From what I can find: Woke theology is all about ME and whatever I want. The only focus is Me, NOT GOD! It is the sin of unbelief, at its finest. Hebrews 3:12: "Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God." 1 Samuel 16:7: "...For the Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." It is the opposite of Matthew 18:21 - 35. Jesus is not considered in any way. It is atheistic! It views salvation through racism and warfare. Now for something really scary! It is the new religion of the west! It is black liberation theology. That is another name for Marxism.
Woke Theology has no official meaning concerning recognized fields of study, church beliefs or any other context. The term "woke" is evolving as we speak and is a relatively new term. Woke is a fairly modern term (1960's) that has come to mean “conscious of injustice in society.” Is there injustice in society? Yes. Is racial profiling present in our legal system? I do believe it is. Are we, as Christians, tasked to fight these injustices in our hearts? You bet. Are we to fight racial injustice when we see it? Yes, with God's Word. There is an answer on gotquestions.org as to how a Christian should deal with the term "woke." Here it is and I do believe that one should read their answer. https://www.gotquestions.org/being-woke.html In its essence, woke identifies that racial injustices exist. They do exist and no law or movement will erase racial injustice or prejudice. Christians should not have racial prejudice. Race should not be a factor when determining someone's character, beliefs or behavior. In God's eyes, we are all equal in every way. He has no prejudice. There are literally hundreds of biblical passages that tell us that we are to treat our fellow human beings with respect and God's love at all times, even when they might not believe the way we think they should. Christ demands that we respect all persons. Not when we think we should, but always. The term woke is used in many different forms and many different contexts. The term "woke" has nothing to do the self, or how one should perceive a person. When anyone uses the term "woke" this or "woke that," it us used incorrectly. A person who is woke merely recognizes that racial injustices exist. That's all. It has little to do with a person's religious beliefs or moral state of mind or whether or not they are a racist. Satan knows Jesus is the Son of God. Recognizing something does not make you a believer. Can a racist be woke? Of course. They know that there is racial injustice and practice it all the time. They prove the meaning of woke. Can a racist be a Christian? I doubt it. They are not living in the likeness of Jesus Christ.
