I believe Ezekiel 40 to 48 describes temple construction and laws applicable to Jews in OT times. I was asked if this applied to now or to future times yet to come. Can you please clarify this question?
Ezekiel 40:1 - 49
ESV - 1 In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck down, on that very day, the hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me to the city. 2 In visions of God he brought me to the land of Israel, and set me down on a very high mountain, on which was a structure like a city to the south.

Good question, Ainsley! Yes, I do believe this will be a literal temple to come during the 1000 year reign of Christ. The exact nurmerous details in these 9 chapters argue for this, and argue against just a spiritual fulfilment. I think the temple and the accompanying sacrifices that will be required are more memorial in nature and not atoning. Jesus' death was final (Hebrews 9:12, etc.). "It is finished!" he said. Our sins are atoned for already! They are forgiven. If anyone reading this is not assured yet of his or her sins being forgiven, ask Jesus now to forgive you and He will! "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
