Modern science doesn't quite 'grasp' what humans are yet, so they are searching for a way to cram our entire experience of the cosmos into a single linear narrative of time. This seemed reasonable at first, but their own story line is becoming increasingly ridiculous. The narrative of 'atheistic' science now requires that we leave the fundamental laws of nature essentially 'unexplained' in origin, or simply accept that they are 'eternal and unchanging.' Okay fair enough, though this is already awfully 'godlike' as a characteristic. Then we must embrace 'super-luck' while accepting that odds at least as great as 1 in 1 duodecillion, (that has 39 zeros!), must be overcome for life to have spontaneously erupted from non-biology, then go on to evolve into a higher life form capable of conscious self-reflection without a 'model' to follow, without outside 'assistance' from a yet unknown process, or without being 'seeded' by some form of extraterrestrial life, (which must also first be similarly explained in its own origins). What does this have to do with Noah and the 'races?' Time. Everything in the scientific narrative hinges on 'time' being steady, constant, existing in only one 'relevant' dimension of experience and completely inviolable, (at least within nature and our experience as humans). We have not an iota of evidence that anything 'natural' can travel faster than light. This is what gives 'time' its stability and consistency. Except, for Christians, this would make 'time' itself 'god,' (if we still accept that such a being exists at all). Most who draw this conclusion, simply don't bother trying. 'GOD' no longer fits in the cosmos, or if He does, He is just as 'bound' by its processes as we are. Thus, not much of a 'god' at all. Scripture tells us differently. 'Eternity' is a state where EVERYTHING is traveling faster than the speed of light. This is where 'heaven' exists in a material form, (that is, the 'third heaven' where GOD dwells). This domain can 'affect' our cosmos at any time and indeed does. This is actually the more 'reasonable' and less 'silly sounding' version of the cosmos and its origins. This also happens to be the explanation and answer to EVERY question raised by human beings when things just don't appear to 'add up' anymore inside a single linear timeline. That includes how very well developed and distinct 'races' could seem to suddenly appear out of nowhere and yet still be from a single man and his sons. You should note from scripture that each of these 'races' had a distinct form of 'math' and arts, (that would take thousands of 'normal' years). Their building constructions were clearly different because of it. Early on, they started interacting and their 'language' was a single 'language.' This is when they started construction on an unprecedented new project that GOD describes in this way: "And Yahweh said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they have begun to do. So now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another’s language.” "So Yahweh scattered them from there over the face of the whole earth; and they stopped building the city." (Genesis 11:6-8). We see 'Yahweh' the 'eternal' Being 'interrupting' time's flow by actually visiting humans directly. He and His fellow 'eternal beings' confounded their 'shared language' that was making it possible for them to construct things that would end up 'inside' heaven, (that is, capable of revealing time's 'nonlinear' nature). That was a dangerous moment, because humans, (even 'righteous' ones), were not yet ready to do this. I believe GOD introduced 'maths,' (our description of 'shared languages' still used for constructing things), containing mysteries that no one has solved to this very day, despite millions now trying. Now imagine a 'new' narrative with this in mind.
Very simply there was enough genetic variability ibuilt into the remaining couples on Noah’s ark to give the various human populations that we observe on earth today from pygmies through to Scandinavians. Our 3 billion base pair genes scream out this fact, and this just confirms what a brilliant creator and designer is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our genes also confirm the fact that there is only one race on earth, the human race.
