As believers we are to seek the Lord while we can.

For we know that God's thoughts are not like our thoughts. What are we to do to understand Him?

John 10:30: "I and the Father are one." Jesus told us this.

In Jesus' prayer in John chapter 17, Jesus said, "You Father are in Me, and I am in You." He prays that all believers have unity with Him and the Father. We are to be of a like spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:16: "For who has known the Lord's mind, that He may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."

How are we to know? Look to Jesus, study His life.

I would also suggest this. Deuteronomy 29:29: "The hidden things belong to our God, but the revealed things belong to us and our children forever, so that we may follow..."

In our Bible Saint Paul revealed the mysteries of God. These mysteries, I feel reveal the thoughts of God.

I suggest you study the "mysteries" revealed by Paul. I will list them here.

Romans 11:25; Romans 16:25; 1 Corinthians 2:7; 1 Corinthians
15:51,52; Ephesians 1:9,10; Ephesians 3:1-3; Ephesians 6:19; and Colossians 1:26.

Remember this, Galatians 1:12: (Paul writes) "For I did not receive it from a human source and I was not taught it, but it came by a revelation of Jesus Christ."

Paul was taught by Jesus, who has the same mind as God.

2 Corinthians 12:1, Paul says, "Boasting is necessary. It is not profitable, but I will move on to visions and revelations of the Lord."

The Bible is a love letter from God.

My answer is very short and simple. The Bible is the revealed will of God. It is through His Word that we know how He thinks and what is in His heart!

It is the Holy Spirit that interprets the Word of God for us because it is spiritually discerned!

Here are some scriptures to read: Isaiah 55:8-9, and 1Corinthians 2:9-16.
