I have a question I am hoping you might consider and give me your thoughts on. I have a long-time friend that proclaims to be a Christian who is planning to marry a woman who claims to be pagan, and in her words a "practicing witch." They plan to have a Christian ceremony to appease his family and I’ve been asked to be the best man. As a Christian and an ordained minister, I see this whole wedding as blasphemy. It seems to me a pagan having a Christian ceremony is a mockery of God and what marriage in the eyes of God stands for. Because of this I am planning to decline participation but before I do that, I wanted to get opinions from others to further my thoughts on this because it’s not my opinion that counts but God's. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.
2 Corinthians 6:14
ESV - 14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
