The Shekinah is a word that is used by some Jews and Christians to describe the visible presence of Jehovah. The word "glory" is an exhibition of the excellence of God. Although the phrase "Shekinah glory" does not appear exactly this way, there are references to the glory of God. God is wisdom, righteous, all powerful. 1 Corinthians 15:41, "The glory of the moon and the stars" indicates the splendor of God. The word is in the Targum and not in the Bible. In Exodus, the pillars of fire and the cloud are an indication of God's presence. To the Egyptians the cloud was darkness. To the Israelites, it was Llght! Exodus 24:15: The light filled the tabernacle when God spoke to Moses. In John 1:4 and Romans 9:4 we see the glory. In Luke 2:9 we see that glory is both physical and spiritual: "The glory of the Lord shone round about them." In Philippians 3:20, the saints experience the changing of their bodies to the likeness of the glorified Lord. My personal opinion is that Jesus being God in the flesh is the Shekinah Glory.
