Just as a potter shapes clay, God uses every circumstance, both good and bad, to mold us into His image and fulfill His good plans for our lives.

Our lives are not controlled by chance, but are under God's divine control, which gives meaning and purpose to our experiences.

Our willing response to God's control can maximize its benefit for us.
