There are certain triggers that ignite anger in my heart such as disrespectful condescending behavior from others. Once anger & offense takes hold of me, it is very hard to let go of and can lead to problems. How should we deal with anger when it gets triggered?

We must remember who we are. We believers are members of the body of Christ. Exodus 23:9: At one time, we were all strangers to Christ. We know the heart of a stranger, lost to God. Wherever we are, we are a representative of the Lord who is in our hearts! Deuteronomy 18:13: "You shall be blameless before the Lord." Luke 6:32: "But if you love only those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them." Ephesians 1:4,5: "...just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him, in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself." As chosen Jesus desires to present us, that is the church, those who believe, to God without spots or embarrassment. We do things we'd rather not, because of what HE has done. Remember, He loves every one of us. It's hard! But life is difficult.
