I do agree with paragraph ONE & TWO of Michae'ls reply. However; Messianic's are" Messianic Judaism" and do follow all aspects of the Torah. The only difference is that we believe that Yeshua Hamashiach is the promised Messiah. We do keep all aspects of the commandments given by God.
Yeshua (Jesus) born a Jew wore a tallit and it was the hem of that garment the woman at the well touched. Secondly Yeshua said He came not to change the law but to fulfill; thus He did not change that which His Father instituted (He wore the prayer shawl). As followers of Messiah we therefore believe in doing what Yeshua did, such as Male wearing the tallit(some also wears the tzitzit), keeping the 7th day Shabbat and observing all feast days.
