Mary was merely the young lady that YHWH used to introduce His Son, Yeshua, into a physical body. She was not a 'goddess', someone to be revered. Even she proclaimed Yeshua as her Lord and Saviour. YHWH said we must NOT worship anyone else but HIM, and this includes Mary.
The Hail Mary is a traditional Christian prayer (Catholic, Orthodox, Anglicans and Lutherans) asking for the intercession of the Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. This simple prayer expresses a lot about Christian tradition: 1. That Jesus is God, and Mary carried her in her womb. 2. That interceding for one another is encouraged. c.f. 1 Timothy 2:1 3. That interceding for one another does not undermine the saving grace from Christ.
