The following is based on my research of "Christian Science beliefs":

Christian Science is a movement founded in 19th-century America by Mary Baker Eddy. It teaches that the physical world is ultimately an illusion and that sickness and suffering can be healed through prayer and a deeper spiritual understanding of God.

Because they believe illness is fundamentally a spiritual issue, many adherents rely on prayer and spiritual healing through specially designated Christian Science Practitioners rather than utilising traditional medicine. However, members generally make their own healthcare decisions and are not explicitly prohibited from seeking medical care.

Christian Scientists have deep gratitude for Mrs Eddy because of how her Life's work has blessed their own lives. The Science she discovered continues to bring comfort, health, and well-being to individuals. Eddy was also very clear that she was not to be personally worshipped.

She asked that people follow her "... only so far as she follows Christ" (Message to The Mother Church for 1901, p. 34:25–26 only).

Christian Scientism is a cult. WHY? Because they do not believe and comply with the whole teachings of Jesus Christ as outlined in the Gospels.

Conclusion

Rather, as Christians, we, as adherents of Truth, take the inspired Word of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Christians acknowledge and adore one supreme and infinite God. We acknowledge one Christ, the Holy Ghost or divine Comforter; and man in God's image and likeness.

Christians acknowledge God's forgiveness of sin in the destruction of sin and the spiritual understanding that casts out evil as unreal. But the belief in sin is punished so long as the belief lasts.

Christians acknowledge Jesus' atonement as evidence of divine, efficacious love, unfolding man's unity with God through Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; and we acknowledge that man is saved through Christ, through truth, life, and love. 

Also, Christian Science teachings deny all the core truths of what defiines 'Christian'.

Christians acknowledge that the crucifixion of Jesus and his resurrection served to uplift faith in understanding eternal life. And we solemnly promise to watch and pray for that mind to be in us which was also in Christ Jesus; to do unto others as we would have them do unto us; and to be merciful, just, and pure.

As Christians, we look to the unique role of Christ Jesus, our Saviour.

Through Bible study, we should accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our God. He is the only way to salvation. And let me emphasise, He did not come to show the way; rather, He is the way.

We should confess to Him and Him alone as Lord and Saviour.
