The Bible describes heaven in great detail in Revelation chapters 21-22. Nowhere in those chapters is the possibility of sin mentioned. There will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain (Revelat...

In heaven where God's throne is, sin does not exist, God is Holy, just and perfect. Sin makes the opposite. Satan is the finished product of sin. Once we inherit eternal life, we will never be capable of committing sin because our very character as immortal spirit born sons of God will be the same as Christ's and the Father. Holy, just and perfect; the finished product of the spiritual man that God is creating in man.

Perhaps, we can simplify the problem by asking the same question another way. "What sin can we possibly commit in heaven?"

Rebelion and Pride as Lucifer did? We already know the result of such rebellion and the Lord Jesus Christ gave us a perfect example of humble submission:

"Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross" Philippians 2:6-8

From heaven we can also see the smokes of hell to remind us of the punishment for sin.

Pride and Envy: We have been saved through God's grace; in that realization, there is no room for pride and envy but only appreciation of God's grace and goodness.

Sexual Sins: We will not need sex as our bodies will be glorified like the angels. We will have an awareness of things much more glorious and desirable than sexual union.

Glutonny and Drunkenness: same as sexual sins, we will not have the appetite for these sins.

I could not think of any possible sin in the presence of a Holy, Gracious, Loving God who rewarded humble submission with so much grace and goodness and punished rejection of His grace with such serious penalty as "everlasting lake of fire."
