✿ Let us study an important event of transfiguration, both Elijah and Moses appeared. Moses had been dead over 1,700 years and his body was then in corruption (Dt. 34; Jude 1:9). He evidently was brought up form paradise below the earth (Lk. 16:21-31). This is an example of full consciousness and of a soul "wearing clothes" between death and resurrection (Rev. 6:9-11 Heb. 12:23; Ps. 16:10). Christ had not yet become the firstfruits of all that had died, so Moses could not have had a resurrected body (1Cor. 15:20-23). ✿ Jesus was transfigured and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. (Mt. 17:2). Compare the white raiment in Mt. 17:2 with Rev. 3:4-5,18; 4:4; 6:11; 7:9,13; 15:6; 19:14), it is Literal for all resurrected saints in Heaven. It also symbolizes the righteousness of saints (Rev. 19:8). ✿ John describes Jesus' body was clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded with golden girdle (Rev. 1:13; cp. Dan. 10:6). ✿ Isaiah saw Almighty God in a vision sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled. Hebrew: shuwl (H7757) is used to refer his "robe". Translated train here; skirts (Jer. 13:22,26; Lam. 1:9; Nah. 3:5); and hem (Ex. 28:33-34; 39:24-26). Here the long flowing robe seems to have filled the throne room of the temple. In the East, long robes indicated grandeur and majesty. ✿ Daniel described God wearing clothes too (Dan. 7:9-14; 10:5-19). We read about all angels wearing white shining garments too. (Lk. 24:4 cp. Jn. 20:12). None of the creatures in the universe is said to be nude or naked. ✿ Even the inner man (soul + spirit) has a form and shape exactly like the outer man and fits into the body even to the outer skin. This is based upon the fact that the soul is that part which feels and the spirit is that which knows. The inner man can wear clothing, rest, eat, drink, and do other things (Rev. 6:11; Mt. 17:5; Lk. 16:19-31 Heb. 12:23).. ✿ Souls and spirits have spirit forms with physical parts, like the parts of the physical body. They wear clothes, talk, feel, etc. (Lk. 16:22-24 Isa. 14:9-11 Mt. 17:3; Ps. 16:10; Heb. 12:22-23 Rev. 6:9-11). ✿ Definitely, we will have spiritual garments just like Jesus has. All resurrected saints in glorified bodies wear white raiment, which is used only in Revelation of Christ and saints (Rev. 3:5,18; 6:11; 7:9,13; 15:6; 19:8,14).
Since Adam and Eve were naked in the Garden of Eden before the Fall (Genesis 3), and since there will be no curse in the New Earth (Revelation 22:3), some speculate that, in eternity, we will be na...
