Make sure you pray scripture in your prayers. I'm not sure if this has already been said. I really saw a difference in how God responded to me when I began to say scripture with what I was praying about. I'm not really good at memorizing the scriptures with the books and the numbers but I can remembered them word from word. When what you pray about is lined up with His word your prayers will move the biggest mountains!
To be sure that you are praying in God’s will, the first thing I think of is to say, “God, make Your desires mine.” Years ago, God inspired the following prayer within me and I think it is a perfect prayer for what you are seeking: Father, take my hand and guide me, fill me with Your spirit Lord, show me every step that I am to take, I’ll follow You forever more. Father, lead me to Your kingdom, make Your desires mine, keep my childlike love for You, seeking Jesus all the time. Also, always remember, you are desiring your heavenly Father’s will above your own. And anything you feel that God leads you to do will not conflict with Scripture. Hope that helps.
