I consider any music that glorifies God, Jesus,or the Holy Spirit to be Christian music or music that portrays Biblical truths. I love to listen to songs by Ray Boltz, who now professes to be gay. I don't believe that God created anyone to be gay; but, allowed different temptations so we would have to rely on his strength to over come them and not give in. All music is written by sinners. Some choose to worship their humanity and short comings and some to worship the creator of the universe. I rely on God to strengthen me in my moments of weakness and pray for those who have forgotten that. Only God can make saints from sinners. I am weak but he is strong.

I would consider music to be 'Christian music' one that you would listen to along with your pastor and not have to think twice. Music that would glorify and uplift God.

The Lord planted in my heart a song of beautiful lyrics that uplifted me when I was in a state of depression. The song is one that I hadn't heard in years and it's brought worship from my heart that is both so personal to me and glorifying to God as I sing with all my being. Worship has a new meaning to me now and I believe that because it comes from my heart, it is ever so more pleasing to our Father who listens closely to us and seeks our hearts.

There is a variety of music and I truly believe that while the Bible is God breathed through Christians, music is inspired by God too. God uses people that we least expect. Often times, I've tried to research the author of the lyrics and song to find out if the person has any relation to God because I believe that God put it in my heart. Only God knows what goes on in the heart of people and He works on Christians and non Christians alike. No longer is there any distinction between the gentiles and the jews but a relationship with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Whether circumcised or not, there is nothing one can do but to accept the free gift of God.

An example of such a song is 'Up where we belong' by Joe Cocker. It was created in 1983. Another song that came to my heart is 'This I promise you' written by Richard Marx and released in the 2000. These are but a few.

Worship is enjoyed between us and God and truly giving our hearts in Love. Anything that is not of Love and perverted does not describe God's nature and Love.
