I'm trying to figure out how to "KNOW" if my Husband is Saved. We've been married 27 years the end of this month. He was a career Naval Aviator, gone a lot, now works in another country. Bottom line; I've just started to attempt to talk to him about his salvation b/c I know he has never really come forward whenever he's been to church.

I was just going to say, that there is more than one answer to know whether someone is save or not. The scriptures are already posted so I don't need to, but if anyone never talks to you about God/Jesus ever.., then chances are they may be not be saved, because that's something we can't keep to ourselves. The Holy Spirit WON'T ALLOW US TO.Like Jeremiah said it's like fire shut up in our bones.
All counselors will tell you that a person talks about the most what they love the most. As saved Christians, we are so in love with our Savior and Lord that just as Brigitte said, you can't stop telling people about the love of your life. That is why the saved person wants to spend time deep in the Bible each day to be with the Lord in His love letter-- you want to hear Him speak to you. Then as your day goes on, you are seeing the activities and details that He is doing in your life, and you just keep praising Him and thanking Him for every little thing He does. He is in the driver's seat of your life having you share the gospel with the people that He puts in your path.
