Some commentaries say the rich man parable is two fictitious characters used to portray the story. I would like to know if there is any evidence or suggestions to suggest this is the same Lazarus.
Luke 16:19 - 31
NASB - 19 Now there was a rich man, and he habitually dressed in purple and fine linen, joyously living in splendor every day. 20 And a poor man named Lazarus was laid at his gate, covered with sores.

The only evidence I can offer to suggest that the Lazarus in both stories are the same person, is this verse Luke 16:31, "If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead." Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, yet the Pharisees are still not convinced.
