I just have a hard time fully believing in the story of Noah having to get 2 of every animal and God flooding the Earth. So did Noah just gather the animals around him, and how did he capture birds back then? Also after the flood likes like the Earth would reek of death from God drowning out his creations other then Noah. I have hard time believing into the Old Testament since the New Testament is much more believable to me. Is this because of the writing styles of each author?

I don't understand how the New Testament writings of Scripture are more believable than the Old Testament writings.
The raising of the dead back to life is reported to have occurred in both testaments (2 kings 4, Luke 7). In the New Testament, Jesus miraculously changed water into wine by simply filling pots with water and then pouring it up as wine. John 2
Somewhere in the vicinity of 15,000 people were miraculously fed with only a couple pieces of fish and a few loaves of barley bread, and there were twelve baskets of leftovers after all of them people had eaten all they wanted; happened twice. Matt 14, 15
Jesus walked on the sea to get to His disciples who had gotten stranded out in the middle of the water. Peter asked if he could walk to Jesus on the water, was told to get out of the boat, and he began to walk on the water before becoming afraid beginning to sink. Matt 14
Lazarus was in the tomb 4 days before he was called out and restored to everyday life. John 11
Jesus was dead for three days before angels came and rolled the stone away that sealed His tomb, revealing that He had risen from the dead. He was seen by over 500 people before later ascending into the sky and out of sight, while His disciples looked on. 1 Corinthians 15:6 and Acts 1
I don't think there was anything that happened in one testament that didn't happen in the other. Miraculous feeding is miraculous feeding (manna from heaven). The Red Sea parting, and Jesus walking on water. Very similar.
