The Gospels: A man named Jesus comes on the scene in Israel after 400 years of silence from God, proclaims himself to be the promised Messiah, God in flesh and performs miracles. Religious guys get mad, call him a liar then kill him. Jesus then raises himself from the dead proving his claim to be God is true and ascends to heaven. The Epistles: Explain what the implications of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus mean for salvation, our relationship with both God and man, and what daily Christian life looks like; false teachers are repeatedly railed against. Revelation: Sin, death, the Devil are done away with, all mankind is judged, Jesus reigns in heaven with the saints for eternity.
