What are the differences between the Jewish Tanakh and the Old Testament?

Did Christians corrupt/mistranslate the Tanakh to better fit the Gospels? Is the Old Testament a corrupted, mistranslated version of the Tanakh?

Thank You

The bible translated into Greek by Jews who had lost most of their Jewish culture, lost something in their translation. For example, when Moses was giving the laws he said, "If you lend money to another jew you must not charge interest". Although the word "if" is translated correctly, the jews translated IF asWHEN. Thw word if gives you the- impression that you have a choice. It is like you telling your child "if you're going to school today, you need to get moving". You're not giving them a choice, and your child undstands that because she knows the family custom and traditions. Thats what we must understand before we can understand the Bible
