Isaiah (53:3) tells us that the suffering Messiah would be "a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief" and so, to my mind, tears would have been a constant companion during the years of his ministry. So the real answer is not "once" not "twice" but, in private, frequently although only two instances of public weeping are recorded.
I believe the 2 references that Donna Colley mentioned probably are Luke 19:41, weeping for Jerusalem; and John 11:35, weeping for Lazarus. But also see: In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. Hebrews 5:7 So, in my opinion, it is recorded in the Bible that Jesus cried 3 times.
