The bible spells it out pretty well with one scripture, Galatians 5:22: "The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, goodness, kindness, meekness, gentleness, patience with self-control." Just guide your actions by this and you will be proud of yourself, understanding that you will need the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to do this through prayer sometimes when temptation comes to do otherwise. "It is not by your might nor by your power, but by my spirit," says the Lord. Remember it takes time as you grow in Christ Jesus to put down your old nature/flesh before you were born again. Words can get you no where when you're dealing with the demonic attack or influence in lost or saved people. Rebuking Satan in Jesus' name is the best response in these situations. I saw a woman in Texas use that on a robber once and he ran from the store. Saw it on our local news station and the news people did not have a clue that they had just witnessed the power of God through one of his children. The world can not see or comprehend spiritual power manifested in this fallen world. It can only be spiritually discerned by God's true children. We have power in his name that can do the impossible. My wife used it on a naked man threatening to assault her when she was out for a walk. He left her alone and walked off. She called 911 after that and the police came and arrested the naked man. The police wanted to know why he was so scared and afraid of her. They asked her what she had said to him. They just shook their heads and left. Righteous anger in a child of God in control can remove Satan's power in a situation. Selah! Jaybird
