The OT is a shadow of good things to come. The OT was in the beginning grace then law and death. This was not the way God design it but that's was the it was because of disobedience. Since man now had the knowledge of good and evil he had some choices to make. There were now two voices in his head. So now the warring begins. The OT tells u about the beginnings. The NT tells u about the payment not payments for all sins and not A sin. It tells of the love for the Son from His father and the love from the Son to His Father. The unconditional love from the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit to mankind. The New Testament is ur new contract from the Father that includes all mankind like in the beginning before the law. The OT is the history of the Jewish nation for the most part come on over and read about the Gentile in engrafting in to the olive branch. Come over into the NT and experience the victory of having Jesus as ur blood stain covering. Just as Adam and Eve received the blood stain covering from God. So do we in Christ, bring us full circle into God's Grace and mercy. If there is a new there has to b an old. The new is the upgrade with bigger and better promises. I love the New Testament and Romans and Hebrew will b such a blessing into your benefits as a believer in the Word remembering the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. They work together to bring light and liberty
