What is the difference between laws, commands, commandments, decrees, and statutes?



      

Deuteronomy 6:1 - 3

ESV - 1 Now this is the commandment, the statutes and the rules that the Lord your God commanded me to teach you, that you may do them in the land to which you are going over, to possess it. 2 That you may fear the Lord your God, you and your son and your son's son, by keeping all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, all the days of your life, and that your days may be long.

First of I am messianic.

The jewish people do not few the 613 laws or commandments as 'laws' like Christians do, but as 613 ways to gave a relationships with G-D.
With this one can see how hard it is to choose with which one to please G-D, just as it would be impossible to keep those laws or commands. So G-D Made it easy for us to have a relationship with HIM by reducing it to only one way through HIS SON Y'SHUA.
