Who would have been Jesus' teacher on the torah at home? Joseph or Mary? And why?

I guess my question was not understood, in the home of a jewish family who would be responsible for teaching the children. mother? or father? Assuming both parents are living, I receivie your answer but Jesus and his siblings were taught by a parent. What was the custom?

The maturity shown by Christ at the tender age of 12 in understanding the scriptures, the bible tells us that even some learned scholars were surprised by his wisdom. This does give us a glimpse into the kind of communication Jesus had with God his father. Although basic teachings would be imparted by Joseph, the guidance and in-depth knowledge would have come from the Almighty Father.
