This parable presents to us a lesson that as a born again Christian who follows God and adheres to His ordinances that we should should learn to forgive to be forgiven. When we forgive we should let go and forgive in full not in part.

In Mathew 6:12 as Jesus taught His disciples He mentioned forgiveness in the Lord's Prayer by saying forgive us as we forgive those who wrong us. It therefore means for you to be forgiven you need to forgive others otherwise you will remain unforgiven. Never assume you deserve to be forgiven while others don't deserve it. Forgiveness has no limits or borders. We should forgive as we are forgiven. That's the walk of a true believer in Christ.
