The word 'miracle' can be used much too loosely to be useful in establishing the truth today. What seems to be a miracle to one person may only be a marvel for another. Stage magicians perform tricks that are marvelous to the audience, even though everyone understands they must only be tricks. It was only after the magicians of Pharaoh failed to reproduce the miracles of Moses that they acknowledged that they were of the true God. Even Simon Magus was able to perform seeming miracles (by sorcery) and convince many he was the "Power of God." (Acts 8:9). In the case of Christ, although there were many miracles and healings, he gave only one sign, the sign of Jonah, or the return from the dead, of his divine authority and pre-eminence. Muhammad gave no sign from God, neither did Guru Nanak, since no higher sign was possible that that given by Christ. The conclusion is that Guru Nanak's miracles, whether true or not, have no affect on our view of Jesus.
