Romans 12: " And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Ephesians 5:18 " And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;"

Eph. 5:19 " Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;"

Eph 5:20	 "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;"

I believe the Bible teaches it is the responsibility of every Christian to be filled with the Holy Spirit. It is not simply an event or accumulation of spirituality but constant and consistent renewal, a daily part of the Christian walk requiring submission and confession of sin. There is only one indwelling, many fillings.

You only receive the Holy Spirit once but you may or may not have other manifestations which are commonly called infillings.

I have experienced them about once a year and usually while worshipping in the mist of the congregation.

When they have occoured I am not expecting or even seeking it. I am totally focussed on worship and engaged completely and soully unaware of anything else but worship and have a thankful mind set.

I usually cease worshipping when this occurs and feel a power that is unknown or unequaled by any other earthly endeavour that I could participate in. I usually weep a gentle flow of tears during the experience. I can feel a power flowing in my body but I can not see a visual sign of it not that you're looking for one. You're just experiencing it and when it is over. Life is not the same.

The only thing that I can say about it is that I am changed and energized by the experience from the inside out. And it reaffirms that God knows who I am and has chosen to commune with me in this special way that is wonderful.

It is not like the manifestations of the holy spirit gifts of tongues (personal prayer lanquage/ communing privately with God) or the gifts of interpretation of tonques, visions, dreams, word of wisdom or word of knowledge ect. Ect.

But when I was healed of epilepsy it was an over powering experience, where my prayer partners held me up from colapsing to the asphalt at the dairy queen parking lot prayer circle where the Lord chose to healed me.
