If we assume that the bible does not contradict itself there are two possible answers.
1) Sosthenes and Crispus are different names for the same individual.
2) Both were leaders of the synagogue.
3) Their terms as leaders were sequential, that is that first one was leader and later the other became leader.
4) They were leaders of different synagogues.
