The first order of business is to set goals that you have first prayed about. Always take it to the Lord in prayer. "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7) ESV

If you have yet to establish in your own mind what it is you wish to do, also take that inquiry to the Lord in prayer. Ask what it is that He wishes you to do. Pray (speak to the Lord) many times a day, as you would a spouse, a friend, a family member, a confidante. "Pray without ceasing." 1 Thessalonians 5:17 ABPE

By Staying in touch with God on a daily basis, He will show you where you should look, who you should talk to, and whatever it is He wants you to consider. Sometimes, the information comes from very unexpected places! It is extremely exciting the way God directs the believer! It can come from the most unexpected of places. "Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: 'I am the Lord your God,
who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.'" (Isaiah 48:17) ESV

Always remember that God never leaves you alone and dangling in the wind. He is right beside you, helping you to reach the worthwhile goals that He has for your life.. "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (Numbers 23:19) KJV

Yes! Philippians 3:14 states’ press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”. The objective of life is advancement in every area, naturally as well as spiritually. Setting goals and masterfully achieving them brings out our innate abilities as well as the hidden potential and talents that are housed in each one of us. Setting goals allows us to tap into the creative mind of Gods’ and allows him to give us an incredible display of what he can work into each one of us if we remain committed to the goal/dream/desire.

Case and point: when I was in school I studied interior design, I didn’t finish college however just embarking in that endeavor allowed me to realize that I am an excellent writer. I am a published (published in 2008) Author now.

The title of my first book is the Count it all Joy Mini-series presents “Words have ears and they respond to your every command”. My next book will come out by the end of year. I didn’t stop there, I’ve sang in many church choirs and chorales and that led into my bold stance and I audition for America’s Got Talent and the Voice. Now I didn’t make it to television segment however I did make it through many levels within the competition and was told by the producer of both shows that I do have an incredible talent.

My book writing ability has opened up many doors for me I was asked to be on television in Plano, Illinois and that opportunity afforded me the opportunity to pull on the Spirit of the Lord for an witty invention. And he gave me the insight to create and share a Pin that supports our civilian and active military personal. Please visit www.pinsforourtroops.com at your leisure the funds afford me the opportunity to help and assist the organization “Children of the Fallen Soldiers Fund” and it also provides wheel chairs for disable veterans. So Yes we must have goals, set goals and masterfully achieve them so that people can see our good works and we all can glory the Father for the good work he has done and is going to continue manifest in us.

Allow me to also add that Joseph, brothers sold him to some Egyptians (Genesis 39). He could have taken on a woe is me attitude however he remained steadfast and removable in his faith in God. And he became the second man in command of all that Potiphar had and the land of Egypt. So set goals and aim high! And remember if at first you do not succeed, try and try and try again knowing that the Lord causes us to triumph in every endeavor 2 Corinthians 2:14
