Susanna or Shoshana is included in the Book of Daniel (as chapter 13) by the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches.

This addition to the Book of Daniel is declared Scripture by the The Council of Carthage in AD 397.

It was dropped by the British and Foreign Bible Society from publication in 1826.
