For God so loved the world, that HE gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God loves us sinners so much He sent His own son to die and pay for the sins of the whole world, First John 2:2. So that anyone could believe He did it for them and be saved from Hell.
We are all born into this world as sinners. It is not our fault. We did not choose to be born sinners, but it is a fact. Our fathers and mothers were sinners and so we to are born sinners.
Since sinners can do nothing to change what they are, we have to be born of God to go to heaven.
The bible says we have to be born again. Ephesians 1:13-14.
Now we have the new birth, but that did not change the first birth. The old man did not get saved. The new man did.
Romans 6:23 For the penalty of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus finished work on the cross.
Since we could do nothing to change our old sin nature, Jesus the perfect lamb of God took the punishment for our sins so we could never be condemned again. John 3:18.
IT is the greatest story ever told. Jesus died for sinners. God loved us so much that He made away for us to be saved by sending His own son to pay our sin debt in full so we could never be condemned again.
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into judgement, but is passed from death unto life.
Gods love for us is beyond our understanding. Some might die for a good man, but Jesus died for sinners. Romans 3:23. First John 1:8. We are all sinners, but Jesus paid the debt and set us free.
Romans 3:26-28 For He is the just and the justifier of them that BELIEVE in Jesus. We have nothing to boast in because we did nothing for it but believe it. Acts 16:31.
Since He paid our sin debt in full, First John 2:2. we have no sins to pay for. Since we have no sins to pay for we cannot go to hell. Since we cannot go to hell we have to go to heaven.
John 10:28-29. And I give unto them eternal life. No one can earn it. And they shall never perish, NEVER, and no one can pluck them out of my hand.
John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER, believeth in Him, should not perish, but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. Jesus said it, we believe it, and that settles it. John 3:18.
