When I read this question "How should a Christian view Robby Dawkins" I looked for an answer. I realized I was the first to answer. So I looked him up and went through several months worth of his FB page. People say what they think on FB and no reason to look at others' comments about him. I still don't know him, but Vineyard is a decent organization. Each church is fairly autonomous but the basic Pentecostalism appears to be the norm. Robby seems to be teaching about Jesus and trying to encourage people to follow him completely. This is a good thing.

I've decided that the way I'm going to view him is a person who needs the protection of his brothers and sisters in prayer. I hope he has a group of elders around him who will question his off the cuff statements. Some of his "inspired" quotes are marginally biblical and mostly hyperbolic statements to foster faith and action.

I personally am skeptical of anyone who needs to travel the earth to preach to the choir, but Paul did it. I'd be aware that much of his ministry seems to be emotional in character not in theological training, but I've not attended his school and don't know much about him.

Sorry if I sound like I've made a judgment, but he seems to be on fire for God, and he will be a target for temptation and ridicule and possibly persecution. But I fear anyone that promotes the results that come from his crusades. Sometimes God wants us to be small, we don't have to have miracles evident to bolster our faith. We should believe that Jesus is Messiah. I'd let Him limit Himself to what that means for the fruit you exhibit.

Pray for him, stay in the Word of God, and pray that you will have the boldness to speak for Christ as Robby desires too.
