3:00 pm. 6:00 am was considered the beginning of the day for Jews, which makes 3:00 pm the ninth hour.

Jesus died at the ninth hour (3 PM) as written in Matthew 27:46-50, Mark 15:34-37, and in Luke 23:44-46.

This is also the time the temple veil was torn in two, from top to bottom, showing that the way to God in Heaven is open to all though Jesus and we no longer needed priests to intercede for us.

Jesus is our only Intercessor before God as He said in John 14:6. He has been there all along for us, as John wrote in John 1:1-2 and it is also written in Job 16:19-21.
