We, the body of Christ, 1 Cor 12:27, should resist within the boundaries of the governments of our countries. Of course, when the Antichrist arrives, we'll have to _actively resist the mark of the Beast and our existence as Christians becomes more and more challenging.

There is an organization called the Bilderberg Group which meets in secret at least once a year and their stated goal is one currency and a one world government. So, its not as if the Revelation of John is in the distant future.
The Bilderberg Group is comprised of world leaders from every discipline whether it is politics, or nuclear physics, or banking, or genetic biology.
They are worth reading up on so you'll know what we're up against.

The good news is, as Michael stated above, God does have a plan to defeat the Antichrist and the result is Jesus on His throne in the New Jerusalem.
Worth noting, we'll have at least three things to do during Christ's thousand year reign on Earth. Praising the Lord God, reuniting with family and friends, and proselytizing around the world as described in Isaiah 12:3-4, also from Michael above.

To me, being opposed to globalisation means to be an active opposer.
Does this mean that a disciple of Christ should be actively involved in politics with those who walk the streets in protest or to be active in a political party opposed to? I don't think so.

The Holy Spirit does not permit this type of activism "No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier." (2 Tim 2:4). This is another way of saying we are not to participate in politics.

Our time should be focused on the warfare disciples are engaged in - a warfare against the wiles of Satan to protect our loved ones at home, and in the Ekklesia, our brethren, as well as sharing the gospel message in the world.

Our opposition to evil things happening in the world is in active prevailing prayer, and teaching our family members and brethren to stand against the wiles of the Devil as we engage Him one on one wrestling (Ep 6:10- 13). If we put on ALHYM's armour, and resist Satan, the Holy Spirit will do the fighting for us just as YHVH ALHYM delivered Yshral (Israel) from the cruel Egyptian Pharoah with 10 Great Plagues directed against the demons they worshiped and tried to teach the Yshralites to rely on His Almighty Arm to save them.

The ultimate in globalisation for each one of us is the Mark of the Beast, 666, which will be put on the foreheads or right hand - refusal will mean great suffering for those who refuse the Mark (Rev 13: 15-18). I for one will not have the mark! We must remember that we have the seal of the Holy Spirit upon us 2 Cor 1:22) - we belong to our Heavenly Father!

We must fix our eyes to the goal of making it to Heaven, to ALHYM's home (Ep 2:19).

The world is ever present to entice us to go back into it and to choke out the life we have within - that of Christ's (Mt 13: 1-9, 18-23).

"No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of ALHYM." (Lk 9:62).

Following iEsou christou (Mt 1:1 Greek) The Messiah, Christ (Jo 1:41) means walking out of this evil age, the world system, into the glorified body of Christ, the Ekklesia (Ac 2:41 Greek) and staying there (1 Jo 2: 15-17), to avoid spiritual contamination (2 Cor 7:1).

We go into the world to search out for those the Holy Spirit leads us to who ALHYM is saving! (Mt 28: 18: -20; Jude 23).

Well, globalization is an issue emerged in the end of Cold War (1945-1991), together with issues of democratization and human rights, which was an idea of Mikhail S. Gorbachev, former General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, well known as "perestroika" (restructuring) and "glasnost" (openness).

Actually, true globalization is God's command to all believers and followers of Jesus Christ to spread the Gospel (Mathew 28: 18-20; Mark 16: 15-18). So, a Christian should not be opposed to globalization, but we have to be conscious and realize that we are challenged in accomplishing our Great Commission by the world. (John 14: 15-17).
