Yes sadly. The book of revelation tells us of the last war between God and the enemy satan. Mark 13:7 "When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come." There will be wars until the end and then one last one before satan and his demons are locked away for good.
I would say no, there will be a time between A and Z where there will be a cessation of wars for a thousand years. Let me explain A is as in Armageddon, the war at the end of the Tribulation where the world forces all gather in the valley of Megiddo against Isreal.Revelation 16:13-16 and Joel 3:2. This is the time when Jesus shall descend again with the Saints and utterly destroy the world's forces that are lead by the Antichrist and Jesus sets up His Kingdom as King in Jerusalem.Revelation 20:4-8. Then there shall be a period of 1000 years where Jesus rules with an iron rod, thus keeping the peace. Also one reason there will be peace is because Satan and the demons are bound in the abyss for the 1000 years.Revelation 20:1-3. Then at the end of this peaceful, blissful time Satan is released from the Abyss and goes right back to deceiving people and inciting them to rebel against Jesus and His reign. Thus, we have the Z as in Zenith for at this time Satan and his reign of terror will forever be ended for him and all his demons and followers shall be thrown into the Lake of Fire forever.Revelation 20: 9-10. So from the beginning of Genesis when Satan deceived and brought about choas with sin causing the first war between Cain and God's Way thus instituting jealousy, and bitterness and hate and murder. Genesis 4:4-8 till Revelation 20, we see the course of human history snarled and burdened by envy and hate and power seeking that lead to Wars and destruction. Thank God,as David could say and feel secure in Gods' protection Psalms 4:8, God has provided a way in spite of wars and choas if a person is born again, then there is a Peace of God that indwells in a person through the Holy Spirit that can calm the storm or calm the one in the storm.Colossians 3:15 and 2 Thessalonians 3:16.
