What is the sin unto death?



      
1 John 5:16

      

        ESV - 
          16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life - to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that.

The summary of that passage is you cannot pray for the dead. 



Sin gives allowance to the wicked one to touch you and he can take your life. So pray while the person is yet alive, else after death nothing can be done.
