I have been taught that God promises what is best for us, when, where and how we receive the goodness for every need and blessing He has in store for us, His children. But, we have to first put our trust in Him and His timing, His purposes in when, how and in His ways that are not our ways. This means to have total faith (opposite of being insecure)in ALL of God's promises, by total, unrelenting faith and belief that He will always come through for you and me! "If God is for us, who can be against us!" This profound truth in so many scriptures is, to me, so critical for all of His children to know deep within our spirit! We are naturally impatient --Remember, He tells us "to be patient and wait upon the Lord, and He will make your paths straight that leads to His righteousness". In our human nature, He tells us "trust not in the ways of this world, but to put our faith in Him that He will not lead us astray, but into His pathways and purposes He had and has planned for us." "Place your trust in Him and He will direct you all the days of your life" "Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine...oh' what a savior, His Glory divine..." (old Gospel hymn). "Praise God we have a Savior and His name is Jesus Christ". --Andy--
Once man had had a knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 3: 22), he lived in an insecure life (Genesis 3: 13-20). So, the one and only place to have a secure life is Jesus Christ our LORD, He is our refugee, our fortress, our God, in whom we trust. (Psalm 91:1-16) and follow and obey what He had taught us how to pray (Mathew 6: 9-13).
