Where and when did the wise-men meet Jesus?

Where was the household that the magi met him? (see also Luke 2)

The word Magi comes from the Persian word, Mogh. Moghan (plural) were the Zorasterians priests who lived in Persia (modern day Iran). Moghs were expert in astronomy and had established their base in the city of Hamadan. It was there when through their prayers God used them to follow the star and come and visit Jesus. Magi does not mean magician. Wiseman is a better word defining what they did which was following God's direction.

The Magi came from Parthia. The Parthians were some of the descendants of the lost 10 tribes of Israel that were taken out of their land by the Assyrians circa 721 BCE. Although only three gifts were presented the number of these chief Magis would have been at least 10. They were essentially a mix of royalty and priesthood. Have you ever wondered why the whole city of Jerusalem and Herod were scared out of their wits? We're talking a large caravan of Parthians with soldiers, servants and others. Parthia and Rome were not the best of friends at this time.
