Can a Christian have a job in the secular world? Or do I have to go into the ministry?

Paul was a tent-maker, as were Priscilla and Aquila (Acts 18:3). There is nothing wrong with having a job outside the church.
To the larger issue, every Christian should minister inside the church with their spiritual gifts. This does not have to be an 'official' job like a Pastor. It could be encouragement, greeting, cooking food for those who are grieving, music, etc.
