As far as I understand yes He will. During the Day of the Lord at the judgement of the nations. In Zechariah 14:4 "in that Day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives" and I think that this is the judgement day spoken of in Joel 3:2 "I will gather all the nations in the valley of Jehoshaphat" And that this valley is in the location of Har-magedon. Revelation 16:14 "to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty." Revelation 16:16 " to the place which is called Har-magedon." This should also be the same location spoken of in Zechariah 12:11 "In that day there will be a great mourning in Jerusalem like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the day of Megiddo." and it is written in Zechariah 12:10 "and they will look on Me whom they have pierced". So the Father will be with His son in that day. Because it is also written in Ezekiel 39:11 " So they will bury Gog in the valley of Hamon-gog" this again is the same location as above and in Ezekiel 39:9 "for seven years they will make fires of them (the weapons)" I would think the judgment of the nation will happen before the Millennial Kingdom is about to start. Because the earth is the footstool of God I am not surprised His feet will stand on it. I don't know if we will be able to see God "face to face" though. As God said to Moses in Exodus 33:20 " no man can see My face and live" so He put Moses in the cleft of the rock while His glory was passing by. In Zechariah 14:6-7 "In that day there will be no light.... but it will come about that at evening time there will be light." And we know that one day is like a thousand years in the sight of God 2 Peter 3:8 and Psalms 90:4. We may not be able to see the Father "face to face" until the New Heaven and the New Earth are established Revelation 21:3 "God Himself will be among them" in the New Jerusalem Revelation 21:23 " the glory of God has illumined it". God is Omnipresent and One with the Son. It is about how He chooses to reveal Himself to man. This is what I understand from what is written, I could be totally wrong though.
