In addition to the great answer that D Jones gave, there is a common sentiment in Christian culture that sex is dirty or bad. That is not accurate. The only thing that makes it dirty or bad is when either it is performed outside of marriage, or it is not performed between a man and a woman. If a man and a woman are married, they have already satisfied the "biblical way" of having sexual relations with each other. Inside the boundaries of a monogamous marriage between a man and a woman, there is complete freedom to enjoy that relationship, so long as their desire is solely for one another, and each feels loved, honored, and respected.

Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. Paul said to think of other as better than you. Also to do nothing that goes against your own conscience. With all this in mind, the marriage bed must be consensual and mutual on both sides. One spouse should never pressure the other spouse into doing an act they feel is not good. Think of your spouse as your closest neighbor and better than yourself. If a certain act would feel degrading to one spouse, then both spouses should feel the same.

I was raised to believe that sex between a married couple of the opposite sex is a holy thing. It is designed to show each other the trust we have for each other in a vulnerable state. It also teaches us to care for one another, treat each other tenderly and with respect for how we are making the other feel in the act of sex. It is also designed to to bring forth new life and nurturing. The marriage bed is a type of sanctuary where both can join together and become one in mind, body and spirit. This is what I have learned about the "Biblical Way" of having sex.

God made our bodies to have face-to-face sex. Another thing is God discouraged intercourse during the time of the woman's period (se Lev. 15). This was for health reasons.
