Gospel = Good News! In 2 Samuel 7:16,"And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established forever before the e thy throne shall be established forever." This is called the Davidic covenant. This is the promise upon which the kingdom of Christ was founded. This Gospel of the Kingdom is a kingdom on earth, political spiritual and earthly. David's heir would rule. This was begun, Matthew 3:2, "Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand." Christ came, and was rejected, the people were looking for a militant king. This Kingdom will resume and Christ will be King, God will be manifest in human affairs on this earth. Matthew 24:14, "And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." This part is yet future. The everlasting Gospel in Revelation 14:6, will be preached to people at the end of the tribulation, just before the judgement of the world. Matthew 25:31-46. Although it is judgement, it is good news to those who have been saved during the tribulation. We are living in a period called the Gospel of grace. Salvation is being offered to all who believe. Christ came to his own, they rejected him. The Jews were to spread the Gospel of salvation. How are we doing? I pray that no one is lost!
