The Festival of Unleavened Bread (Leviticus 23:6-8), conducted immediately after the Passover observance (Exodus 12:1-14 and Leviticus 23:5) Firstfruits (Leviticus 23:9-14) The Festival of Weeks, or Shavuot, or Pentecost (Leviticus 23:15-21) The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) (Leviticus 23:23-25) The Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 23:33-43) (starting six days after the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) (Leviticus 23:26-32)) Chanukah (not a feast referenced in the Old Testament canon, but observed beginning 75 days after the Day of Atonement in commemoration of the cleansing and re-dedication of the temple in Jerusalem in the second century BC, following its desecration by the Syrian king Antiochus IV Epiphanes by the placement of a statue of Zeus in the temple, and by the sacrificing of swine upon its altar.
