Micah 4:2
ESV - 2 And many nations shall come, and say: "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

These are the last days. Jerusalem is a metaphor for the church established on the day of Pentecost after Jesus' resurrection and ascension to heaven. Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism. All God's people go up to this "mountain" to worship him in Spirit and Truth.
In the Old Testament book of Daniel, chapter 6, Darius set over the Kingdom 120 princes. Over them he appointed three presidents. Daniel was appointed first.
Daniel was a man filled with the Spirit. The king placed him over the whole realm. (Daniel 3) The other appointees decided to get rid of Daniel. You know the story, the plot to only be allowed to pray or petition the King for thirty days. They knew Daniel would pray to God! The trap was set!
Daniel 6:16, Daniel is thrown into the Lion's den for praying. God rescued him. Praise! Daniel prayed in a particular fashion toward Jerusalem. Remember, he was not in his own country.
It it said that more importantly that the position of the body, is the attitude of the person. The set of the heart and the soul.
On the earth today, I don't think there is any place that you cannot pray. Our Lord Jesus said "...he shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father...God is Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth." John 4:21,24) Jesus, who is the Truth told us this.
2 Corinthians 3:17, "Now the Lord is Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." Where is the Spirit of the Lord God not?
I believe if He is with us all the time, wherever we are, we may talk, commune with Him wherever and whenever we want!
Great answer, Shirley! Thank you!
