To relive stress go to God in prayer, giving praise and thanks. Let the love and peace that comes from God alone ease your stress. The word of God says to give thanks and praise for all things.

Ideally a Christian should recognize that we are in God's hands and He will take care of us in all situations.

However, we are humans with human weaknesses. Even Elijah found stress a difficult thing to handle when he was chased by King Ahab. After moping around for a while he once again let God be his source, Once again he realized that God was in control of his life. He went forward and was able to pray fire from Heaven and achieve a great victory.

I was stricken with cancer a few years back. My job required me to actively be working in order to receive wages and I had very little cash reserves. I took charge of the situation and found out when I could go back to work and that was OK with the people I worked for. One day while I was in the hospital, God spoke to me and asked me who was in charge of my life, him or me? I said Him. When I was released from the hospital, I started making preparations to go back to work when I discovered that my job had been terminated. Little did I know at that time that I would not find a job for a year and 1/2. What kept me during this time was the question that God asked me in the hospital. If I was being a true Christian, I had to rely upon Him. During that 1 1/2 years, God supplied miracle after miracle. I made all my mortgage payments on time. I did not go into debt. We had food on the table. God supplied all our needs.

Stress is part of life but who handles it is our choice. We should give it to God.

Nahum 1:7
The Lord is good,a stronghold in the day of trouble;he knows those who take refuge in him.

Psalm 9:9-10
9 The Lord is q a stronghold for r the oppressed,
a stronghold in s times of trouble.
10 And those who t know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Take all your problems to the lord and he will help you through them. Ask him to help you in your time of need. But remember you must take everything to him in prayer. There is nothing to big or to small for your Father. (notice I said Father), He is your Father and what do fathers (dads) want to do? Help their children. We are his children and he will always be he for YOU (Us). Also He knows what you are going through before you even know it. He is all knowing. But remember he will answer you in his perfect timing.
